Is Ray Allen worth Maggette and Mobley?

Allright Im playin my Clippers Dynasty and I wanted to know, Would you accept a trade of Maggs, Mobley, and a scrub like Baker for Ray Allen?

I'd say yes. Ray Ray is getting a bit older, so long term Maggette will be a solid 2/3. Mobley will bring the 3pt threat short term, but will probably lack the consistency of Allen. I think the positives have got to be Maggettes potential for further development and his solid rebounding and athleticism for a player his size, Mobleys outside threat, and a nice expiring contract like Bakers. I think overall that is worth more than Allen.

I agree with Fitzy, keep Magette! Trading away him and Mobley for Allen is bad, you give up too much. I'd rather go for another 3pt threat but without trading Magette.

I think you're giving up too much. Maggette's only hit his prime or is coming close to it, plus for a 20-6 player he's really well worth the money, especially since nowadays players seem to have a boatload of cash rammed in their face after their rookie contracts.

Mobley is a good shooter anyway, Allen brings nothing new to the team.

Ray will be a solid 3pt threat for the rest of his career, he does have a huge contract you have to keep though. I think that for the first 1-3 or 1-4 years of your dynasty he's extremely valuable and extremely good, he can dunk, score inside, and shoot jumpers better than anyone in the league, and he can intercept passes pretty well too.

Keep maggette, he is like teh total pwnage...who cares about ray allen get someone like oh idk..........................................................................................................................................................

Trade was done but I managed to steal Damien Wilkins from them atleast to provide alil of that athletiscm that was lost when Maggette left. The team is playin great though Mobley was a shooter but he couldnt drain the same 3's that Ray is drainin. My bench isnt as strong now though, but with Livingston, and Vladimir its not that bad.

Haha true, true, I guess I really wanted Ray Allen and I hated CAT. Its the only way it couldve been done.

trade mobley for someone else or if you really want allen, trade mobley plus some bums and picks

I would say Mobley w/ any bench players should do...
But again, you traded already, oh well...

Well, just offer to trade Ray ray and Wilkins back for mobley and Maggette because Maggette develops into a McGrady/Lebron type player with a few years of training and its a BIG loss for you if you lose him..... Trade them back then if you get them back, trade Mobley and two other guys if you want ray ray and Wilkins but if you want just ray ray then just trade mobley and one other player........
