how to compress viv files???

My new jersey came out to be 1.33mb while most of the others are 450k or less. How do I compress these files? I have a feeling this is why my game isnt starting up.

Using BigGUI, open the .viv, select the files you want to compress, and choose Compress from the top-menu.

Thanks....I feel kinda dumb now. However, it actually made the file a tad larger. Went from 1.33mb to 1.39mb. (shrug)

Hmm, it shouldn't do that. Try re-making the .viv, sometimes that works.

Do you mean from start to finish??

If you have to. Try to re-import the files first, then if that doesn't work, try from scratch.

Okay, what about all the rest of the .fsh files? I put the .viv in the uniforms folder but still have the other 5 files.

Have you made the jerseys yourself? What image file type did you save them into?

Yes... they are saved to .bmp which makes them 768kb, the same as other jerseys in that format. Is there anyway I can send you one of the .viv files to look at? It has to be something simple. The only tutorial i am using doesnt seem to help with this issue. Its like something is missing from the tutorial and the during the tuturial, the author keeps 'skipping around' which can become confusing.

Okay, I converted the .bmp back to .dds which I was not doing before so now the file is 368kb which looks about right. The game shows my team and roster, but it still jumps back to the desktop when trying to initiate any gameplay, even just practice.
