Is this cheating?

Hypothetically....

You know how you can sim the first 3 quarters and only play the 4th? Well peep this scenario...

* You sim the first 3 quarters
* You're down by 15 points
* You intervene for the 4th
* You go to the 'Select Controller' screen
* You go 'Back' to the Schedule screen
* The Simulated quarters are erased as though they never happened
* You sim the first 3 quarters again
* You're down by 20
* You repeat the above process until you are only down by 2 pts (or leading the game)

Be honest - how many of you do this, and do you consider it cheating? I do it sometimes (eg. for key playoff games)...but it is cheating, I think.

i do it a bunch if i want them to do well or to suck ass. Sometimes I do it to make sure they go 0-29 or whatever.

So do you think it's cheating?

It sort of defeats the purpose of playing Dynasty mode if you're going to do it - if your team is genuinely poor you don't get to experience that and the challenge of building them up....but then, I don't want to waste hours sim'ing a season only to miss the playoffs.

Its cheating,but I don't give a shit because I never simulate games.

I do it sometimes, so I don't think it's cheating because I don't see myself as a cheater .

Cheating why play dyansty mode if you gonna do that.

I would say it's cheating. I never simulate, it takes the fun out of it

I love simulating dynastys, the Live 06 gameplay is so shitty.
