Andre Miller - Trade help

Postby Silky Johnson on Fri Apr 21, 2006 11:53 am

In my Dynasty as Denver, I have been using myself (created player) as the PG. With Boykins on the bench I no longer need Andre Miller.

I know his contract expires at the end of the year, but I noticed some great free agents that come on the market at the end of the second year.

Should I:

a) Simply let him go at the end of this year and sign a cheap free agent SG to get me through 06-07 (keeping the cap space for free agents)?

OR

b) Trade him for an SG (around $8M p.a.) who expires at the end of 06-07 so that I have the option of either resigning or releasing for the cap space?

I think you should trade him. Get something in return (Y)
I know the cap space might be necessary if you don't sign him but if you do a sign and trade and get someone that doesn't want a lot of money. Both parties win...Miller gets a team and you get either money or a player (Y)

No, don't trade him fro JR. He will only average like 8 PPG, his overall isn't what it should be and he sux at Defense!(Trust me, I had him in my dynasty)

You can keep him and play him exclusively as a 2 guard, since he can play 2, and then sign a 2 guard at season's end.

JR Smith grew to 85 overall without me doing anything to him. He also average 12 off the bench for me, simulated too.
