Work In Progess For A New AIACT

Whats up everyone, the aiact is still being worked on but Its coming along GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! New Features include:

Scorers such as Vince Carter, Wade, Bryant, Tmac and Carmelo will have all layups through the lane on command with the FSS buttons but will be able to bust out CRAZY fast break dunks on command with there own Dunkpacks.

Post Scorers are alot better now and its fun to get the ball down in the post now. Alot of Lay Ups, Hook Shots and basic dunks for KG, Jermaine O' Neal and others.

Glitchs have finally been fixed. I'm doing my best on all of the work even though. I'm a manager now at my job 21 years old and already a manager (SOUNDS GOOD TO ME) but I'll continue to work on the file to make it the best I possibly can.

No problem everyone, right now its 4am and I'm sick as a dog man, so I'ma get some rest, hope to see some good replys and HOPEFULLY a post of that Missing Tmac tatoo But also I forgot to tell everyone in the update. DO NOT CHANGE FREESTYLE STARS IN THE REGULAR GAME FOR RIGHT NOW if you do it'll change the player's dunkpack.

well enjoy put the players.dbf in your saves folder, it is only capible of being used along with the shoe patchs and Andrew's roster(I don't think anyone else has another roster) but enjoy let me know what you think. I'll try to do more on it with my own opinions.

yep you got it all right man, but don't worry about the dunkpack list right now I'll explain that later on, but just don't change Freestyle Superstars yet. Just leave them how they are with the players.dbf

Unbelievable. This AIACT was worth the wait and all those non-believers should be eatin' their words after this release. lilvc did exactly what he said he'd do and released an unbelievable sweet animation file. I've dabbled with editing the AIACT a little myself and it ain't no small task.

Any comments or suggestions for lilvc should be handled with the utmost respect for all the work he put in. Congrats man, this is solid work. Awesome animations including, passing, shooting, dribbling, and overall AI reaction. And the dunks, unquestionably the best I've seen. This is certainly the patch of the year with the contribution it makes to the most important part of the game: GAMEPLAY.

Again, congrats and a huge thank you.

I hope you gave VC the Power player Windmill like Jimmy did

Done some more playing and it's all here. The settings included are a must have because lilvc has done so much to improve this game that it plays in an entirely different way. I suggest you use the sliders (settings) he has included because they are spot on. Just played Sonics vs. Lakers and watching Kobe, Ray, Lamar, and Rashard was like watching their real life counterparts. Ray's jumper is lightning quick, Rashard can fly, and Kobe's AI moves and logic are absolutely incredibly accurate.

For those in search of a true to life representation of what the NBA is, this download has it all.

Keep up the good work lilvc, you are definitely the man on this one.

i have just tested this aiact that u do with jimmy and the standalone version of jimmy's

at this moment i found Jimmy's is better and far more realistic

in yr version , some big man tends to be a highflyer and jump too high and away from the basket

hope to fix it u will be the best

at this moment i will stick with jimmy's!

The big men are not like highflyers. Big men are able to throw the ball down near the hoop and in this patch they do. You need to use the settings provided otherwise the aiact patch won't work as intended.

The big men in this patch will throw down if they are position to do so. If they are challenged adequately by a defender they will alter the shot to a layup in most cases. This is one of the things that is so realistic about this patch. Guys that tall will dunk the ball when given the chance and in this patch they will unless they are challenged, which is the case in most occasions if you use the included settings.

Jimmy's file is nice, but it is not nearly as inclusive as this one. Compare the filesizes. There are a lot of changes and alterations here in lilvc's that lead to players react in different ways in different situations. It is easy to see that lilvc has tested this file extensively and made it as true to life as possible.

Best one so far, no doubt . But it appears that highflyers can't miss 3s! When you're outside the arc, and press freestlye button along with shot button for an example, he becoms a sharpsooter all of a sudden. Same with Power players.

Thats just a minor problem, it will be fixed right away. Remember what I said, this one is just a Preview!

the high flyer can jump too far away....that makes the normal player without superstar ability meanless...they wont got chance to shoot the ball...not too blance...but still repect ur great work~

lilvc22 - thanks for all your hard work.

My question is regarding the roster file. What information is changed in the players.dbf? Are the ratings changed (as compared to Andrew's v1.07 roster) or just the dunkpack values, or something else? Will the aiact not work w/o this roster loaded?
