Unable to use controller profile in dynasty/all-star

Mon Mar 27, 2006 5:16 am

Whenever I start a dynasty and make it to all-star weekend, I'm unable to use my controller to control a participant in either the three-point shootout or slam dunk conest. I get some guys invited to each, then the only options other than cpu to select them are:

-Contoller 1
-Keyboard

If I choose controller one, it doesn't recognize my controller. I'm not very good with the keyboard for sports games-is there a reason why it doesn't allow me to choose one of the controller profiles I have?

My contoller is the wired Microsoft Xbox360 one. Normally, everthing on the controller works fine after I created a profile and selected it before a game or 1-on-1.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Btw, I'm not using any new controller drivers such as the one that makes the L&R triggers digital. I use button 5 and 6 on the controller for those functions.

This is the PC version, of course. I can only watch the three point shootout and slam dunk contest by choosing the CPU because I can't control the participants. How does anyone with a controller get all-star slam dunk and three-point shootout to work in dynasty? - I guess no one does. That would be a pretty major bug.

No one controls all-star weekend during dynasty then. I'll ask the guys at EA if they know of a fix.
