Salary Cap & Franchise Players

Postby 3C on Sun Mar 26, 2006 11:59 pm

I'm playing NBA Live 06 on dynasty mode. The problem is this...I have some franchise players who's contracts expire after the season. If I re-sign them I'll be WELL OVER the salary cap. How do I sign key players needed for my team to suceed and stay under the cap or at the very least a little over the cap? Any ideas?

By not signing one of the franchise players.

By not signing one of the franchise players.

Just by not signing ONE of my franchise players out of a possible 2 or 3? This could set my franshise a year or two back. Plus they may or may not be someone to fill in the void the player has left.

Just as in real life, you'll need to fork out the money to keep those players. You can try lowballing them on offers but do that one too many times and they won't be interested in even discussing any future offers.

trade for other low cost yet efficient players to replace ur franchise players. anyway i always like michael reed, he's cheap but yet he can give damages outside the arc.

or u can trade for expiring contract jus like wat detroit did with the magic.
