The trim lines are probably as neat as you'll get them.
Take one of EA's portraits, paste it on top of yours, stretch yours until it's the same height as EA's, select EA's portrait (Ctrl+click on the layer), invert the selection, make your portrait the active layer, and press delete. It'll make your portrait look reasonably similar to EA's style.
Ctrl-click your portrait so you've selected the outline, make a new layer, and stroke the new layer 10 px black (it should stroke the outline of your preview). Set that layer to about 40 opacity, and voilà!
