Any way to edit the salary cap information in NBA Live 2006?

Greetings all.

I just got into this game after taking a 3-year break from the Live series. I play on the PC. I remember the old games had a salary.ini file that you could edit to change the salary cap information for the game. If you tweaked it properly you could get some decently realistic salary cap increases.

I don't see that file in NBA Live 2006. Is there no way to do that this year?
