how come some players disappear after some seasons

i gots some players that disappeared after my 1st and 2nd season. is it possible to get them back? one player that disappeared is Salim Stoudamire

The game prunes out the lower rated players from the free agent pool every season.

Quite possibly. You'd need to add them again though as they're wiped from the database.

I would choose a generated player and change their PLAYERPKG to that of Stoudamire. You'll probably have to search the roster upgrade patch for his speech id and appearance details so you can go into APPEARANCE.dbf and edit that player to look like him, just match up the player ids in both databases.

hmmm question... i installed the NLSC roster patch v6. but smush dun have a pic there.... i dL'd a portrait and CF and edited his dbf and stil dont show. help
