Shooting Range question

If a guy is rated, say 75 for three-pointers, but his shooting range is only 18, will that in any way affect his three-point shooting ability?

how are you editing your players, that he would only have an 18 range with 75 3point shooting?.

there are several times in dynasty and season mode where the players range is updated, any player with 65 or over for 3point will upgrade to 25 range. So you might as well just raise him yourself.

I coached my player from about 43 3P to 75. So, his range is still only 18.

good point... i really wanna know the answer.

He should be able to knock down threes according to this three point rating, but not as consistently as a player with a range of 25. In other words, he can step back/pull up behind the three point arc and knock them down, but he'll still be better within 18 feet.
