NLSC Roster Update v1.06 Released...

It's a little bit later than I first expected, but here is the post-trade deadline roster update (v1.06) for NBA Live 06. Download the patch here.

Key features of v1.06:
- 2005/2006 Rosters accurate as of 07/03/06
- Player ratings updated
- Primacy ratings adjusted for better shot distribution
- Player positions and data updated/corrected
- East & West All-Stars Lineups Updated
- Rookies & Sophomore Lineups Updated
- East & West All-Stars default jerseys corrected
- Default Dunk Contest participants Updated
- New Michael Jordan portrait by Cable Guy

Andrew, have you considered those name issues (Anfernee, etc.)?

i tried releasing (to free agency) some of the created players from orlando magic and it wouldn't allow me, but releasing tony battie or anybody not created doesn't seem to be a problem. anybody else having the same issues?

I said that I couldn't update it myself, and I did not. Cable Guy sent me an update which I liked, so I've replaced the one the patch was using before. Again, any art updates that come with the rosters weren't made by me so it depends on what people give me to use.

Tested it, nothing wrong as far as I can see.

No, I've decided to take the roster update in a new direction where I don't make any updates and any transactions I include a purely fictional.

If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: the whole point of a current roster update is to update the rosters so that they reflect the current real life NBA.

So far I have checked just one name... and it is 'wrong'. NBA.com lists his name as C.J. Miles, not CJ Miles.

Have you tried using full stop's(".") in a name?

Fair enough. I know I definitely changed Penny Hardaway back to Anfernee Hardaway, as it should be.
