online gameplay issue

can somebody tell how i can minimize the lag when i play online? or possibly get rid of it at all? thanks everyone. im new to online play

my specs:
nvidia geforce fx 5500 256mb
p4 2.4Ghz
512mb ram

1) play somebody near ur area or within ur state.

2) try making ur settings @ medium or even the lowest.

yes i play somebody within our state. we are both using broadband. and my settings are set to lowest. but the game still lags. what else should i do?

ea online has always been lagging for me, even on a gigabit lan. just bad coding i guess.

i play direct connection. not on eaonline..

is any of you behind a router perhaps? you might need to open up some ports.

no. i dont think we are behind a router. i connect to him directly to his ip address.
