What's your "Go to" play and which team/players do

What's your "Go to" play and which team/players do you use?

I play the Sacramento Kings since NBA live 99 in PC and they've become my favorite NBA team because of the NBA live series. Before i like to play double high 1 and i have 2 shooters on my wing, 2 high picks were Bibby can drive to the lane and pass of to whichever player is open on the wings or wait for Webber to cut down for the easy jam, alleyoop or easy 2. It has always worked until NBA live 2003. It has actually become such an unstoppable play that me and my friends stopped using that play when we play against each other.

Now with Live 06 and with all the trades, i'm still playing the Kings and the offensive plays have changed. Now i use Bullseye for my 4 and 5 (PF & C) and Highflyer SG for my (2's and 3's). I read from someone who shared that calling High Screen then Mid Power you'll have your SG or SF free on the wings. This is a great play except that i no longer have good shooters especially that Peja was traded.

For the Bullseye, i wait for the pick which will be set by the C or PF, use the pick and look for the open 3 with Bibby, if not the C or PF will be well positioned under the basket, make the pass, at times i tap pro-hop so he can make room and hit dunk/layup button for the easy 2. This has worked for me especially if i want my PF or C to score.

For the Highflyer SG, i wait for the SG or SF to cut from the top of the arc, and when he is right exactly on the inner semi circle i hit the alleyoop button. This sometimes doesn't work and if timed incorrectly will result to a turnover or an interception. Now for the other option, after i call the play and go to the circle to start the play, i go right and not use the pick set by the C or PF, i wait for the other cutter (SG or SF that did not come from the top of the arc) time it perfectly so he's right under the basket. If you make the pass it'll be an easy 2 especially if the player makes that under the basket animation. I also tap the pro-hop button so the player makes that shoulder fake and pivot to make room.

This plays work with the CPU so i haven't tried playing them with human players. I always try to have all my players score in double figures so i've pretty much covered all players with this 2 plays i've mentioned. I'm still experimenting for more plays, Single double works fine and is straight forward except that you should have good perimeter shooters or 3 point shooter.

Also, I've always used the offensive play sets and i wondered how to execute properly the pick-and-roll? I can run the pick-n-roll and pass to the guy rolling to the basket but what i wanted was to set the pick and have my controlled player drive to the basket. The switching defender always catches up and stops my dribble penetration. So any help and tips will do especially to those who can pull this off. I've never tried Iso plays just because Kings don't have very good iso players, i haven't tried Artest though lately.

So my question to all you guys, what's your "go to" play and which player/team you use? Maybe you'll be kind enough to share yours so i can expand and improve my game.

Note: I use Andrews current rosters (1.50) and Heiks current sliders sets.

My favorite is Boston when I need a 3. I give the ball up to my SG or SF on the left wing, come off the two screens, recieve the ball back in the left corner and drain the 3. For the game. lol.

i use Denver
i give the ball to Melo, who runs up the floor-he fakes around a player from the 3, runs in then passes out to an unguarded player(they double team melo-so someones free) who hopefully knocks down the 3 (Y)

Double Power. The play is money. All four on the floor are an option for the PG, you need a decent passing PG but. C and PF run around the outside to the hoop, hit them in stride on to the hoop for an alley-oop or easy dunk/layup, or hit the SG of SF for a screened mid-range jumper, if they miss you got both your big guys under the basket for the rebound. Like any play you overuse it, the CPU or Human opponent catches on and double teams the PG, forcing a bad pass or TO.

C.Paul is averaging 16.3 assists per game, atleast 3-8 of them come from this play.

Scorer PF, with Minnesota (patch 1.05)

Get any player, apart from Garnett, to the spot outside the 3pt line and the others will isolate while garnett runs to the post and usually ends up posting up the SG for an easy 2, or getting to the line. I do this repedatively to foul out their players.

If I'm the Spurs I'll call Mid Power, and Bowen will be open for a three, or maybe Ginobili, if I'm lucky.

Oh, and what's that play where their SF runs to the corner, and their SG will go through a screen by the hoop and cut up to the three point line, where he's usually open unless I help out? The computer always does this...

Miami Heat!
double power, power c or highflyer sg!
when shaq have the ball - he's almost unstopable! and if cpu doubleteams Shaq, Flash is always there to help big Diddy! :) i think Shaq+Wade=the best dynamic duo of NBA Live!

second team i use is Denver - when cpu doubleteams Melo, K-mart is ready to score!
thats my favourite teams!
only god can judge me

Cavaliers and i either run scorer SF or screen game with LeBron acting as PG for that play so he can drive or give to the PG for an open 3
