I don't know who 'troy' is, but no, you don't need v1.03, this is a completely new roster.

Andrew, this is what you said about Brevin Knight's Playmaker FSS:

I had meant to do that in v1.03. Guess it will be in v1.04.

v1.05 now is it? :P

Ah yes, I remember now. Rather than forget it again, I've just made the change so it'll definitely be in v1.05.

Not really an issue with the roster patch, nothing I've done would cause that to happen.

You know, I quite resent that comment considering the work I put into updates; it's one rating for one player. Also, if you'd read what I wrote carefully, you will have noticed that I said I've gone and made that change right after Cable Guy posted so I would not forget it again. So no, I won't keep making that huge, terrible mistake in subsequent versions.

Hi, Andrew. I thought you said a realistic slider will be released while new roster patch is out before? I was looking forward to seeing a slider update more than roster update.

Thanks, another great patch. A couple of criticizms(sp) however... Yes they're about kevin martin :P

His fatigue is better, not as high as I had hoped, but 50 is reasonable.

By the way, ignore these gripes if you are basing the ratings on last season, and not this season.

Hes shooting 33% from the 3pt line, yet his 3pt rating is 35. I believe that 55 or so would be a little better. Bryant is a 33% career 3pt shooter, and he is shooting 33% from beyond the arc this season. His 3pt rating is 80.

Same percentages, yet one rating is 35, the other 80?

Next is Kevin Martin's FT percentage. Shooting 85% from the stripe this year... 65% last year. Career is 78% (obviously he has shot a lot more from the line this year). Yet his FT rating is 65... obviously rated from last season... or else it would be 78 or higher.

Next up... his jump is 70. Thats pretty low for a guy who dunks from the freethrow line in games. And being able to dunk in those not so great lobs from bibby...
Might I reccomend his jump be adjusted to 78?

His shooting range should be 25, not 20...

His steal rating should be in the mid 50s, not the mid 60s. Maybe 57-59, instead of 64.

Brad Miller's 3pt should be upped a little as well...maybe 50 or so. Hes a 32% 3pt shooter and shooting 33% this season.

Also, kenny thomas' dunk is 52... I can't believe that... Have you seen him play this year? 70-75 would be better.

Just constructive criticism... I only checked the kings as thats my favorite team and its later currently.

Thanks for the great patches!

erm...
no offense... :)
but in my opinion...
the situation in which kobe shoots 3 and k.martin shoots 3 will be different right?
i mean kobe will be shooting with a lot more pressure as k.martin, cuz ppl will guard him more tightly as they know he is a good shooter..
unlike martin which is not a very good shooter right?

:) my opinion no offense

its great, just make rip hamilton a mid 80's player, hes so good and so underrated in this game, and tayshaun, though i know you took away his FSS abilities, should not be rated so close to him. Anyway, just make rip one of the better players in the game, as he is, and same with chauncey, you could bring down sheed and bump up those two perhaps? Also, rashard lewis is underrated, hes a mid 80's player, as is proven by his ablilty to score 35 pts on many, many occasions. Damien Wilkins, SF of the sonics, should probably be around 70. His 3pt needs to be in the 60's, as he has proven himself to be able to hit the open three consistently, and hes quite the dunker (hes the nephew of dominique wilkins and son of gerald wilkins), and he started at PG for the sonics when luke ridnour was hurt.

One last thing:
Johan Petro should be a mid 60's center. He was drafted at the end of the first round and didnt receive much playing time under Bob Weiss, but since Bob Hill has taken over the sonics head coaching job, he has given Petro much more playing time and Petro has proven himself to be a legitamite center. Hes a good rebounder and inside scorer.

Also, Robert Swift, the man drafted 18th in the 2004 NBA Draft (hes out of HS in Cali) recieved practically 0 minutes under Nate McMillan last season, and no more minutes under Bob Weiss, but Bob Hill has given him a lot more playing time and Robert has proven himself to be a strong center when hes given 20 minutes or more, perhaps a rating in the low 60's would be good for him. I'm also going to tell u one thing about Robert Swift most people dont know, and wouldnt assume. I've been to a lot of sonics games, and when i see Robert Swift warm up, he does some pretty amazing dunks. From a stand still he can whip out a windmill like nothing, and the same goes for Ronald Murray. Robert Swift is extremely athletic and agile for a man of his size. His jump should be in the high 60's, low 70's, and his dunk should be in the 70's as well. He is very athletic. HE used to not have the "courage" to throw down a big dunk in the little minutes he recieved, but now, with more playing time, hes getting more comfortable and you can expect to see some nasty dunks out of him.

thx

COACH FACE

Postby hushong@yahoo.com on Mon Jan 23, 2006 8:45 am

A thing noticed in the roster patch

I notice that in the past few versions, the face of Miami Coach Pat Riley is in Magenta colour. Why is it so ? Is it some bug ?

Kindly fix the problem !

Thanks !

It is not a bug in the roster, there is nothing for me to fix. Please consult Faces Troubleshooting.txt or the FAQ in UPDATE.txt for more information.

No. Sorry, I do not boost the overall rating just so it looks better.

Mehmet Okur underrated. His 3PT rating is so low

I'm pretty sure I've upped it before but I'll take a look at it again.

Num33Baller: I'll take another look at Kevin Martin based on your suggestions.

Hi, Andrew. I thought you said a realistic slider will be released while new roster patch is out before? I was looking forward to seeing a slider update more than roster update.

No, I did not say that. I said the sliders will be out when they're ready and not a moment sooner and that I was fed up answering that question and pestering me about it wouldn't make them come any sooner. Not quite the same thing. ;)

Andrew could you consider upping sasha vujacic on the lakers free throw rating, he has taken about sixty ft's in his career and hes only missed two, i think 77 is a little two low, when guys like Camby have a 72

and vujacic is an excellent 3pt shooter, his rating is a little low, and andrew i'm just trying to make the game more realistic, in real life, rip hamilton is on the same level as guys like paul pierce and stephon marbury, he is as good as any player up to about 85, so i was just thinking his rating should show that but if thats not what u do thats ok
