I tried this out in a dynasty of mine. I created a player and played out the whole season with my created player doing great. Thing is, he ended up being WORSE the next season. His overall rating dropped for like one point compared to the beginning of last season. How could this be? I was wondering if it's possible to alter a player's potential rating in the DBF file? This is because I heard from somewhere (not sure) that if you draft players with Very Limited and Limited potential their stats drop over a couple of seasons.

*The created player had 94 overall rating, went up to 96 throughout the season, then dropped to 93 during the start of the new season. FYI, is also 19 years old, and 1 year pro.

edit the players destiny the lower destiny is the better chance of increasing ratings

when u make a player 93, theres not much more to go up im guessin... ok 99 if u want him to be, but still... if u made him 80, he would advance up faster

Nope, because previously I had another created player as well who had 80+ ratings. 86 if I'm not mistaken. Went down to 82 the very next season. Annoying. He's 19 as well.
