- New NBA arena music addon V2 (30 songs) - tutorial added

Ingame music addon for Live06

A variety of songs heard at different arenas around the NBA (16 songs) ft Usher, PDiddy, Fitty Cent, Queen,
Ozzy Osbourne, Black Eyed Peas, Jaws theme etc.

Most of the originals are still there, so it's a mix of both new and old rather then a complete overhaul.


INSTALLATION

Make sure you BACKUP your existing xditties.abk and xditties.ast files incase you don't like the new songs and want to
restore the old ones.

Extract files into NBA Live 06/audio/aems folder


I tried to make it as realistic as possible (ie the songs have to actually be played in arenas) so that's it's not a
specific musical taste but a mixture of everything. Because you can't please everyone no matter what you do.

It's quite large file (80mb) but it's 15 new songs.. don't download it if your looking for 15 new hip hop songs though.

yes i understand that no matter how you try to make it realistic, it's hard to please everyone when it comes to music as each one has his own music prefs as compared to graphics... i'll try your work! thanks!

Yeah. The organ sounds and defense chants are still there, and most of the hip hop beats are still there. But there are just 15 new songs thrown in.

I found different arenas play the files differently. I could be wrong but in my tests of it Phx and NY's arenas played them not very often. And alot more organ music.

Memphis played very little organ music and lots of the actual songs. It's the same in real life but I'm not sure if that's intenionally done by EA or just random. I haven't payed enough attention to the music for long enough to be certain either way.

But it's too bad you don't hear the songs often...

And how could I put my own songs in it? (the instrumental versions of Usher - Yeah and The Next Episode from Dre / Snoop... and Salt N Peppa - Push It)... songs like that...

I love it! I played at home with the Wizards and the songs played really often, almost every minute.

Very nice. I'd like to see some more of the original songs taken out and songs like "Nothin'" by N.O.R.E. (which plays in Cleveland quite frequently) in. Thumbs up!

Hey, any chance you could add more songs to it, or replace of of EA's generic in-game songs, and re-release? I'm loving this patch, but there's a few more songs I'd love to see in it (instrumentals):

'Nothin' - N.O.R.E.
'This Is How We Do' - Game from G-Unit
'Number One Spot' - Ludacris

(I heard all 3 of these during games this week)

Yea, someone should write a tutorial so that I can put some Staples Center sounds in. (All organ) This would make a great mod.
