Game Problem

Ok, I am trying to start a new dynasty with the Lakers. It loads, I select the Lakers, I hire my staff, and assign the training time for my assistant coach and then the program f**kin quits. I have tried re-starting the dynasty=didn't work. I have tried restarting my computer and then restarting the dynasty=didn't work. I have tried re-installing the game and then restart the dynasty=still no luck. Could anyone please give me some help, it would be greatly appreciated. I have also tried other teams to same result.

My specs are windows xp, 2.8 Ghz, 512 ram, 16x max, Envidia GeForce 4 mx 4000, and DirectX 9.0c

try different drivers, get all windows updates.
