houston vs. detroit issue

i was away for a while, and before i was away, there wasnt any issue.. now when i use houston against detroit, the game auto exits after it finishes loading, it quits right after i hear the crowd noise.... i tried using their different jerseys and courts individually, and it seems that nothing's wrong withe jersey or court or cyberfaces.... but i just have problem when i do rockets vs. pistons.... anyone knows y and how to solve this problem? thanks

edit: just found this... it works fine when i use rockets as away and detroit as home

ahhh too much patch downloading killed me sigh... have to remove all the patches, and no more downloading for me

You didn't have to remove all the patches. What you could have done is use the elimination method. Just place half of your patches in a separate folder, then go in game and see if it still crashes. If it does, then the error must be in one of the files that are still in the SGSM folder, so then place half of them in yet another folder, and check in game. If it doesn't crash, you'll know that the corrupt file is the new folder. So just keep doing that a few times and you'll get to your corrupt file. So just delete that one and put back the files spread out in the other folders.
Great method if you have a lot of patches installed and want to keep as many as possible.

Another good method is to determine whether it happens with a particular team or players, so you can target any patches associated with them.
