dunkratings

'sup,I'm new on the boards and have a question:can anyone help me on the dunkratings?For example:Ray Felton,Speedy Claxton,TJ Ford and Dajuan Wagner are a couple of little guys that can dunk.Yet they only seem to make lay ups,even when I changed their dunkratings to 70%(just to try out)
Can anybody help me out?Cause it started to bug me a lot.

Welcome to the forum. 
There's also a hidden attribute known as the DUNKPACK which determines what kind of dunks a player can perform. A couple of the DUNKPACK values are nothing but layups. If you're playing the PC version you can actually modify this value by opening players.dbf, locating the player and changing his DUNKPACK.
If you're playing one of the console versions, the only method of manipulating the DUNKPACKs is to up the dunking and jumping ratings. This also works for the PC version of course but it's more precise to edit the value directly.

Well,it ain't working.TJ Ford his dunking and jumping ratings are up to 90% each,and he still lays it in...

You can't edit dbf's in console, so, you can't do anything about it.

What's the best way to edit that player.dbf file? I'll trying to follow it in Notepad but I'm having trouble finding the right spot to change the dunkpack number. Any help would be great. Thanks!
