Yeh, I've heard that it was possible to do it in a former version of Live (again I could be wrong) but definitely not '06.

the makers of 07 should make a 3 way trade!

I think 2001 you could do it. Was quite difficult though.

It worked in NBA Live 2001, though it wasn't implemented as effectively as it could have been since you couldn't nominate any players to be swapped between the CPU teams.
