that topic didn't answered my question. i need to know in what condition i need to use every shot?

Sun Dec 25, 2005 12:10 am

use them when you want to get a 3 pointer, preferably when your open
pretty obvious, really

and it did help 'answered' your question, it answered what the types of shots are

well... when you feel like using it.
i can make ben wallace try to dunk it in from half court if i felt like it. but obviously he aint gonna make it

use it when u need a shot to go in .

i am sorry, i think i didn't write my question clear enough.
i know that the set shot (super trigger+shot) is a quick shot, but i don't understand the other shots.

depend on where you shoot. and who you have, each type has then own, and then there are different types within that. 3 point shooter will just stand still and shoot. scorer will go and do this fancy hang in the air shot and kick their legs. and stuff like that
experiment

Sun Dec 25, 2005 12:25 am

i meant on the 3 pointers.

Sun Dec 25, 2005 12:37 am

yeah
if you have a 3 point shooter, then pressing any of the buttons will allow him to do some sorta 3 point shot, but mainly when opened. and some of these shots are easy to block cause one of them its alomst like a setshot where the players just barely gets off the floor.

for scorers they have fancy kick shots and the double pump shot

well, can you give me an explanation about, let say, "Hold Your Follow Through" shot?

Sun Dec 25, 2005 12:52 am

just hold the button until the shot is let off...

seriously dude, stop bitching and try them out in game, its really the only way to find out

Sun Dec 25, 2005 2:17 am

if you need the MEANING of the Hold Your Follow Through...it means hanging your hand in the air after the shot...

Sun Dec 25, 2005 6:07 am

One shot is a quick shot.
Another lets your player hang their hand in the air after the shot.
The 3rd one is a backboard shot.
And the last one is a fake-pass then shoot.

Sun Dec 25, 2005 5:06 pm

^^^
you use the quick shot, well to get a shot off quickly
the leaving the hand in air i guess is when ur open and you wanna show off
the third one of the glass is if you are at an angle and it is easier to make a shot
the fake pass then shoot is to get open quickly for a shot

does that help?

Sun Dec 25, 2005 9:19 pm

Lmao.

Noodle, youve just answered the question for the guy in the right context. (Y)

He wanted to know what the purpose of each shot was...not what it did.

Mon Dec 26, 2005 2:24 am

thank you dean!

Mon Dec 26, 2005 11:36 pm

Use trigger+shoot for middle ranges,
trigger+dunk for long ranges,
trigger+rebound at 45 degrees,
trigger+pass when you want to be cool

Tue Dec 27, 2005 7:55 am
