dbf question

ok, I got the roster update from andrew on this site and i have read the smush parker posts about everything i have to change, but the player id and the appearid do not match. Do I have to change the appearid to match the playerid or vice versa? For example smush parker's playerid says 1073 in players.dbf and his appearid is 2031. But his playerid is right after 2030 in players.dbf even though it says 1073. I have also seen alot of posts about id7 and facepatch but these categories do not exist,there is a face category in appearance, but no facepatch.. Could someone please give me a clear explaination for live 06 on what to do. I want to get my created guy in the game along with parker and J. singleton.

Change the IDs in appearance.dbf to match the ones in players.dbf.

Got it working! Feel pretty stupid because i didn't reload my rosters, lol! oh well live and learn.

teamgear.dbf. Changed the ISLOCKED attribute to 1 for everything.

btw I've once edited a file (can't remember the name) with shoes name in it n filled 'em wit "False" (in ISLOCKED if I'm correct) n it still did nothin, but it worked in live 2005

Somebody can send me the folders appearance.dbf and players.dbf from roster NBA Live 2006??
At me it is impossible to change persons SMUSH and GREEN. After changes at me two mistakes take off, and game hangs

UNLOCKED would be the one. I'm pretty sure it was ISLOCKED in a previous version, guess I mixed them up.

I finally figure it out with err... a little problem

first, u MUST create a Rosters profile

using any dbf editor, open shoesacc.dbf in:
My Documents/NBA LIVE 06/saves/Rosters
change ALL the values in ISLOCKED to False then save it

copy dat shoesacc.dbf (u've edited) to each dbf folder, usually in this path:
My Documents/NBA LIVE 06/saves/Dynasty (if u have one)
My Documents/NBA LIVE 06/saves/database/currentdb
My Documents/NBA LIVE 06/saves/database/originaldb (I guess this one not really necessary)
My Documents/NBA LIVE 06/saves/database/workingdb
Program Files/EA SPORTS/NBA LIVE 06/database/Origdb (not really needed either)

start up the game, then load dat Rosters
why should load it? coz if not then the shoes will remain locked
