Assuming you're using Windows XP...

From your desktop, double-click 'My Computer'. On the left column, the top option will be 'View System Information'. Click that.

Then, on the window that pops up, you want to check out your processor and amount of RAM, mainly. Here's mine, for example:

Celeron(R) CPU 2.40GHz (that's my processor)
768MB of RAM (self-explanatory)

Then, you have to see if you have an integrated video card or not. Unless you've installed one, you can probably assume you have an integrated one. If you're interested in getting one, I got for $150:

nVIDIA GeFORCE FX 5500 OC Graphics Card - PCI - 256MB DDR, and my game runs incredibly smoothly and crisp graphically.

Anyway, hope I helped.

Yeah, your processor is fine. You probably want to get a 512MB stick of RAM (I got one for $40 off ebay), and I'm not sure about a video card, as far as if it can handle the game or not.

He might need to find out if his motherboard can support higher RAM, specifically the type of RAM.

Well, can I still run it in minimum, because Live 2005 ran fine on it.

The game is going to struggle on that system I had a 2.5 celeron 256 ram intel extreme graphics card and it ran pretty badly with 2005.

Celeron + Integrated graphics for gaming is tough. You just about make the minimum requirements I guess, but I think you have to play at the lowest detail levels and hope for the best...
