My ps2 joystick for PC keeps moving up

Can someone help me? I am using a USB-to-Playstation adapter. When ever I play NBA live, my players keep moving up. I think its the joystick, but I can't fix it. I tried going to control panel and calibrate it and stuff, but the players keep moving up. I think it is to sensitive. The players don't run or anything, but they move slowly. Its annoying. Thanks for reading and trying to help me.

tried unplugging and recalibrating? i've had this some times with my logitech, just unplugging helped then.

maybe your joystick is broken, try moving it in different directions and circles it fixed mine. Try playing it on your PS2 if you have one and see if it still has the problem

hey john, howd you get your ps adapter to work in live06? i cant use mine 06 cant detect it. it doesnt show in the list of controllers. ive been using it in live 05 and works like a charm. a wana use it in 06 but i cant make it work.
