a tip for those sick of FSS abusers

Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

a tip for those sick of FSS abusers

Postby kingjames23 on Thu Dec 01, 2005 5:53 am

try turning the charging/blocking foul slider all the way up, then people get frustrated trying to power or high flyer all over you because if you set up in the lane they get a charging foul slapped on them 50% of the time..... its hard to use FSS when you FOUL OUT OF THE GAME

and once people see thier star players in foul trouble, they tend to stop abusing FSS so much except on the fast break.

thought this was worth its own topic.

Or for the dumbasses that whine about the superstar deal...

Just disable them all in the menu ...

I don't know how many times I seen people complain about them when its a simple thing to turn off...

It takes 5 minutes and guess what thats 5 minutes less then it takes to post about thinking its no good on the forums.

Yes you can turn them off for online games.

1. go to roster update

2. superstar attributes(or whatever its called)

3 turn off all superstar abilities

4. save as a new roster

5. make a copy of ur originaldb(roster that comes with the game) folder and save it in a safe place

6. copy and paste the contents of you new roster folder into originaldb

7. now superstar attributes will be disabled by default when u load the game

8. online they will only be disabled when >you< host the game

9. be courteous and tell the other player either by making a title "nosuperstar" or "superstardisable" or telling them in chat when you choose uniforms

10. not announcing stuff like that online gives you a bad rep

11. that is all

So when did your ignorance give you free reign to call people a 'dumbass', hmmm?

Once again, gotta love people who get their jollies by talking tough on the internet.

That is whom I directed my post, it is right below his. And NO you cannot turn off the FSS during onlineplay in the Xbox/PS2 versions.

Not sure the point of your post. But thought I would try and figure it out.
