Can't create direct ip connection in game. help me please

People! Please help me. When I create direct ip connection nothing strange happens, everything is okay, but nobody can't to join to me . I even can't imagine why this happens. Please help!
PS. I can't create connection, but I can join.
PPS. I exactly know that it's not because of firewall.
PPPS. I'm sorry for my awful english, I don't know this language well. Hope u understood what I wanted to say.

post the first 3 numbers of the ip you're giving out to people to connect to, like: 213.224.191.XXX.

that's it, instead of the ip address Live gives me..just give the other person that IP? I don't have to forward my ports or anything?

One more strange thing: nba live shows me not my ip at all!!! My ip is 83.237.243.xxx but it says that my ip is another, like that: 192.186.1.100. Can you say me what that means, what wrong with my comp and why I can't create normal direct ip game? Hope that you know answer.

same as cocobee. you're behind a router and that is your internal ip. normally just letting the person connect to you internet ip 83.xxx will work.

both of you might have to put you pc in DMZ mode. Check your router configuration for this.
