v1.00 released...

For those of you waiting for my first roster update for NBA Live 06, the wait is finally over. You can now download v1.00 of the update here.

Key features of v1.00:
- 2005/2006 Opening Night Rosters
- Some player ratings updated
- Player positions & data updated
- Missing legends added, complete with cyberfaces

Some features coming soon:
- Mass re-ratings/corrections
- Updated playbooks
- Updated salaries (when accurate. up-to-date info becomes available)
- More Legends
- Sliders

What would be great as far as suggestions for v1.01 are concerned:

* Jersey number corrections
* Rating corrections/suggestions

I'll be working on the sliders as well as the mass-reratings (hopefully!) but in the meantime, start sending in that feedback!

Probably in the next version, yes.

Another feature of v1.00 that I forgot to mention: it also unlocks everything, including the Pacers' new jerseys. I'll have to fix up teamgear.dbf so those are the default home/away jerseys for the Pacers.

Your fast I just noticed also because I was looking for parker. Will the announcer call him Mckie when you change the name from williams to Mckie

UPDATE: Due to a mistake which I won't even try to explain right now, I accidentally renamed Aaron McKie "Aaron Williams" in v1.00. I've just uploaded v1.00 again with McKie's correct name, so you might want to download it again. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Yes. The changes won't be applied to Dynasties in progress.

Will you be changing New Orleans in the game to say New Orleans/Okla Cty

Probably, so long as it doesn't cause any problems. Sometimes changing details like that leads to crashes; the dbfs aren't as patcher-friendly as they used to be.

Hey Dre excellent work, i find your patches to be extremely accurate when it comes to personel and depth charts. There are a few ratings that might need to be adjusted but i know that wasnt for this patch so overall hell of a job

Some questions:
For the next patch is it possible to edit the team colors? What i mean is for example new york is orange and black and the game has blue and black. Meaning headbans and gear will be blue for home games and black for away. In real life its orange for home and black for away. So is that possible to change?

Some suggestions for the next patch:
I think Nate Rob's jumping is still low at 85. If he has the highest verticle in the nba i dont see why he shoudnt be in the 90's. He basically can outjump anyone in the league.

Trevor Ariza is SF/SG
Channing Frye is PF/C

As for now i have to play the game and see if i can help out pointing things out. Its a demanding job you have Drew but we all love yah for doing all this. NBA Live without your patches is just not NBA Live, its sucky like 2K6.

Cavaliers - Quicken Loans Arena (Formerly Gund)
Celtics - TD Banknorth Garden (Celtics Arena in game)
Hornets - Ford Center (New Orleans Arena)
Pacers - Conseco Fieldhouse (Pacers Arena in game)
Trailblazers - Rose Garden (Trailblazers Arena)


Jerseys:
Pacers - Their default is last season's jersey. No biggie we can change it, it would just be easier to to have the new ones set.
