hmm question about simmed games

well im trying to get realistic sliders like most ppl are.. since i don have much time to play, i collected some info that ppl posted. i mixed some of them, and tried out mine.since i don have much time to play, im still not skilled at live 06 :( , quite hard for me to decide among the little amount of games i played(still not good at the game, so grab bad offensive rebound, bad passes, and etc). so i simmed a season, and im trying to compare it to the real life 2004-2005 season. im not sure if the simmulated games use the settings i changed to, or they have their own settings, can anyone tell me? well im still in the process of checking, and even though my setting for short,mid,and long range shots are not low, the highest points per game in the league is only 100, and lowest is like 84, quite far from the 2004-2005 one(highest 110, lowest 88), so anyone can explain to me or teach me something? thanks~

Simulated performance is based upon ratings, as far as I know sliders don't affect outcome or stats. At least, I've never noticed any difference.
