How can i make the black in my pics transparent like courts and portraits?

In some of the files like courts it is black where it is transparent. I need to find out how to make the black transparent after I edit the files.

Save it as .png, I remember I read it from somewhere. Oh, and the program might not find it, just type the filename.png yourself.

u can save it by .dds file or .png as cloudy said. You can also make a 32-bit bitmap with the 24-bit the graphical ones and the 8-bit as the alpha transparency. Create your own alpha channel.
