This is the reason why penalty sliders should be high

Here's are 3 games just from tonight alone and look at the FT's and Total fouls called on each team.

Dallas-21/29 FT's-35 Total Team Fouls
New York-38/47 FT's-25 Total Team Fouls

Minnesota-14/24 FT's-29 Total Team Fouls
Detroit-27/36 FT's-25 Total Team Fouls

Golden St-28/42 FT's-31 Total Team Fouls
Sacramento-35/44-31 Total Team Fouls

This isn't anything new because if you closely watch an NBA game 30+ FT's attempted in a game is very common. I think many of us assume Shooting Foul and Reach In Fouls shouldn't be called that much in NBA Live but honestly there should be atleast 2-3 guy's on each team hovering around 4-5 fouls per game.

It might not be fun watching guy's head to the FT Line or having a stoppage of play after every 2-3 possessions but in reality that's the NBA. Guy's are always being called for reaching in or having contact with a shooter in the paint.

ya with the new rules the nba added last year, which is carrying over into this coming season, foul calling has increased but i hate having to shoot so much freethrows lol, so i lowered my slider a bit

It's nice to see the CPU get to the line a realistic amount this year. I could always get my fair share, but the CPU has been pathetic 'till this year no matter who they have. The best scorers have generaly always been the guys like Jordan or "Nique who led the league in Freethrow attempts every year.

Yea, increasing the amount of fouls has it's flow on effects to make the game more realistic, e.g. shots per game is reduced, which also lowers the rebounds.
Shots per game should hover around 60-75.
