dynasty crash driving me nuts

Thu Oct 13, 2005 11:36 am

First my specs-

O.S. - XP MCE 2005
Motherboard - ASUS P4P800 SE
Processor - P4 3.06 HT
Ram - 1gig
graphics - ati radeon 256mg (9550 card)
dual DVD burners (SONY and CREATIVE)

Absolutely nothing is overclocked, it's really not needed.

Anyways, I can play a game all the way through with full graphics on max, I can do it all, I can finish an entire season. After season one, in the post/pre season mode, is where it all falls apart. When it comes time to resign players the game crashes to windows. I can try to enter the first day to sign one of my players, it crashes. I can try to sim over it, it crashes.

Solutions I've tried-

-uninstall and re-install game
-install .net framework and new ati .net framework drivers for MCE 2005 graphics cards
-tried ea tech support (but i can't so much as sign in because they're tech support page seems to be bugged)
-formatted my entire hard drive and reinstalled everything, still crashes in the same ways

anyone have ANY idea?

i found if you don't use a roster update (default EA Roster) your dynasty would not crash :?

however the default roster is mess up...Joe Johnson is still in the Suns :!:
