PS2 component video cable

currently im using an s-video cable hooked up to my flat screen TV and ps2. even though i have better pics and all, for some reason the fonts of NBA Live 06 seem to look fuzzy. For example i can't tell the difference between a 5 and a 6 and also a 6 and an 8 during gameplay. i have to pause sometimes to tell the correct score or number. The font of Live 05 is fine and no trouble w/ it or whatsoever.

Im considering buying a component video cable (Y/Pb/Pr) for the PS2 this friday and see whether this cable will reduce the blur im experiencing.

I will buy it anyway since it greatly increses the quality of pictures, visuals, and sound of the game.

For the console users, my question is whether u guys are experiencing this kind of blur of the font and not being able to tell the difference between the aforementioned numbers? i played this guy online and i asked him if he had the same trouble and he said "yes."

However, a friend of mine has NBA Live 06 on PC and the fonts look soo good and the pics are very crisp. i can tell the difference between the numbers on his PC.

So i'll be very much greatful if u guys here will help me resolve this issue and tell me what u think.

Dont worry, I have just a regular 32" tv and it is fuzzy for me too
Its just that it is all smaller and runs together since its smaller

Same thing here, the number 5,6, and 9 all look like 8's and i already have S-video cable on. 2005 has smoother graphics.

Yeah its pretty annoying, I always have to pause and check if a game is close at the end.
