dynasty crash

for some reason i can't sim past january in my raps dynasty

its my first year and it won't let me sim past january

it sent me back to windows with a codebase error and it says

Error #: -70
Error #: 91102
Reading file
dfile...()
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\NBA LIVE 06\database\workingdb

btw my comp specs are

1.7ghz athlon
geforce 4
768 ram

can someone please help me

yeah i got the same problem now my game doesnt start at all.

Moved to 06 Technical Issues.

Have you edited anything in those files? Either way, what you could try to do is copy the entire 'workingdb' folder from the CD and replace the ones on your computer. Also see if it works if you replace the ones in '\NBA Live 06\database\Origdb' also...

they don't have a workingdb folder on the cd

ugh this is messed up

Then take the Origdb from the cd, and replace the Workingdb and Origindb on your computer.
This might not work at all, but it sounds reasonable to me...

cant u just reinstall the game?

nah, it isn't about re-installing the game as a lot of us have put in a bit of time getting rosters up-to-date and it is quite annoying to re-install....it's not the game that is the problem I'd say, it's the roster....

here's my error messages that I get when I try to sim the first day of the season....



both of these error messages come up and game shuts down....

I tried to replace the original & working dbf files as mentioned, but it did not help as dynasty still crashed....

any help would be appreciated....

EDIT: I think it's due to me editing dbf with Excel. I figured it would be alright considering it was safe in Live '05. I guess not

EDIT #2: Re-did dbf-editing but with downloaded DBCommander, and have not had any dynasty crashes yet
