Habakkuks Rosters v1.1

So now it's done, bug-free to my knowledge. And the last remake I'll ever do.

Install by unraring it to your My Documents/NBA Live 06/saves folder. Load from within the game, and you're good to go.


- Rookies added; Salim, Gomes, Korolev, Bass, the works (there are more than the ones I counted up you know...)

- Salaries fixed according to info I had

- Transactions updated to Curry to NYK

- Ratings and positions adjusted

- All new jerseys unlocked

- All shoes unlocked

- The rosters features play-by-play calling for the rookies

- Cyberfaces are there aswell except for Eddie Basden


So go get 'em. Or not. You know, it's a choice.

Yeah, it crashed for me too.


It said somethings wrong with the face file, maybe it's something you can fix? I like ur roster a lot, I hope you can work out the bug and rerelease it.

Crashing... faces.dbf . I replaced the file with the faces.dbf file from originaldb and still doesn't work... and when you think I spent like 2 hours editing ratings and all that stuff... there has to be a way...

it probably has to do with the created players.

I just searched on google for these errors and it appears that if you edit a dbf file with a program like Microfost Excel, it corrupts the file and you get on having that error.

What I'm a do now is delete the file. See what happens.

You mean start all over again or try to fix this roster update?

If you can fix it, it would really be helpful.

Starting over is easy, just replace the whole saved roster folder, but I hope there's a fix for this.

I deleted the faces.dbf file but it's the same error. It doesn't even say that it can't find the file, because the file actually "appears" there again... I deleted the faces.dbf including the others like CDX or whatever extension... it doesn't work.

I replaced the file (when I say the file I mean faces.dbf) with the one that's on origndb and still crashes... I opened the file and compared it with that of origndb and some of NBA Live 2005 also... you can't say too many things... just face characteristics and numbers...

So I don't know, experienced game patchers and dbf editers should know, but hey, no-one is getting here to give us a hand...

I'm going to hold off on reinstalling untill Habakkuk takes a crack at it. He know's what he's doing, give him some time.

In any event, why not just replace the whole SAVED ROSTERS FOLDER instead of reinstalling?


EDIT: I just replaced the whole FOLDER with the original and simed a season in dynasty mode. everything went smoothly.

Now I'm drunk and generally fucked up. Tomorrow I'll take a look. I promise. But now, oh no. Tomorrow.

If you want to uninstall it replace or delete all teh dbf files in the database folders
labeled : currentdb, workingdb.

But you have any ideea as of why this DOESN'T WORK?
