Few quick questions and Hi.....

....My Name is Jimbo66. I'm a long time member of Doubleminor.net, the Nhl series gaming's answer to the Live series center. I've decided after hanging around the sidelines doing just hockey addons, that this year I'd jump in and do NBA addons as well. I can do just about everything so whatever's lacking graphically, I should be able to jump in and lend a hand.
I just purchased the New 06 version of Live after fiddling around with the 05 version the last 8 months. I personally think, while not landscape breaking, the new game has improved ALOT of minor annoyances last year's version has in it.BUT.....
After trying a game out, checking over what roster tweakage needs to be done etc... I discovered, the little "X" in the corner to EXIT the game was missing. I couldn't find an end game ANYWHERE?? How in thee blue hell do you Exit without having to control/alt/delete???
Also I've just started looking over the graphics files. In the Hockey seris this year EA thought they'd be tricky weasels and add little "BH" files that were checksums that had to be imported into a few preload files, otherwise all the imported graphics would turn pink. Has anything similar plagued this game or is everything the same as last year(Biggui, in, done)???
EDIT:I just checked out the files and have imported all the unis from here into this years game. They look amazing. FRann's update was one amazing piece of work last year and it was my favorite for ALL sports related games including the NHL series from which I hang with...They look equally amzing in 06. Just gotta add the new alternates...(Cleveland's is Killer)..
Also I run a 2.6GHZ, Athlon, 512 RAM, 5200FX GForce, and everything is smooth as butta fully maxed out. Yet like last year I couldn't/CANNOT activate the lighting mech. Is there any reason for this considering how well everything runs???
I've admired all your work here for some time and hope to add some missing cybers very soon. Thank you guys for any answers, I'm certain the things are staring me in the face, yet I can't see em to save me...Here's to hopefully a great gaming season...

Yea, that [X] is a killer. No biggie though as you can just go to the desktop and exit it from there. None the less, it shouldn't be like that. It's a perfect example of what could be fixed in an official patch, yet I'm not too certain that we'll bee seeing one (XBox 360 version)...
Most patching this year is exactly the same as last year. Jersey patching as you mentioned is slightly changed though, as there's another image that goes for the texture for some reason (yet it doesn't seem to have any function). The same thing with the courts, they seem to be changed as well since some of the old patches will cause the game to crash.
About the Lighting feature not being available, it's been asked a few times in Technical Issues but not answered; so no help on that so far...

Come on Jimbo i am still waiting for those goalie updates, anyway good to see you patching for Nba Live now but you better release all the goalie updates!!
