I was looking through all the plays: shooter A, shooter B, scorer SG, scorer SF, highflyer SG, highflyer SF, rising sun...etc.
Does anybody know what they mean? I've been watching games with different playbooks to see how they play but cant quite figure some of them out. Also, my roommate and I are getting dynasty sim stats perfect by messing around with the primacy of players. Becuase NBA Live messed up, in Kobe's second season, he was averaging 15 a game, and his primacy went down to a 28, after I dbf him to a 99 to start the game. So if anyone wants more info on accurate sim stats, let me know. And if anybody can figure out the playbooks, I m pretty sure we can dbf the default strategy for all the teams. IE: Korver was putting up 21 a game while AI was at 17 because I think shooter A strategy refers to Korver.

Well I'm certainly no expert, but have been usin g the Hornets since I got the game... Highflyer SG is my fav play (JR Smith) and it runs 2 ways from what i've seen.
Most of the time: The center pops up to the 3pts line and sets a screen for the PG to run cross court while the SG runs through a double screen baseline to get open on the wing the point guard is heading to... Get the SG the ball, weave some magic.
Sometimes when i run it I find the SG runs to the baseline corner on the same side you start the play, and doesnt get open, but is isolated 1on1. I'm not sure if thats a glitch or a play variation, but its effective enough..

when u call a play, click down on the right analog stick, it should come up with a point on the court thgat u need to go to to trigger the play.
wen u stand on the spot, just watch and u should see lots of players moving around, it should help u figure out what each one does
i think this is why Live needs a team practise mode so u can get good at the plays and know exactly what options you have when your PG runs off a screen etc.

thats exactly what i was looking for, thanks guys. And I think I'm coming close to figuring out the sim engine. The point guards seem to score too many points, and my roommate and I have come up with formulas to potentially reflect 1st, 2nd, and 3rd scoring options in the.
