I just want to know what's new in Live 2006's Dynasty system. Has anyone actually sim through a season and through the off-season? Please share what's new. Thanks.

What exactly do you want thats new? The Offseason is still the same but after the trading period ends, you go to the Staff Signing period where you sign Assistant Coaches, Trainers and Scouts
The Assistant Coaches do training camps and train your players.
The Trainers help heal injuries
The Scouts scout the Draft Class and your next opponent, might i add, is pretty cool.
Oh and after you sign your staff, the Player Development screen comes up and it shows you the players who have developed in the past season..

There's also less limitations when it comes to scouting and training players since you don't have to worry about Dynasty points. Obviously you're limited if you only have the one scout and there's still important decisions to make, it's just much more realistic now that you don't have to achieve in-game goals to be able to afford to run the team similar to the real NBA.

You mean we can just train our players whenever we want?
How are stats being tracked? Is it the same as 2005 or is there any difference? How about the Hall of Fame room, is there anything new there?

its no longer a room, the Hall of Fame is just a menu with what uve won etc

Player training is more realistic and less precise i've found....
You select a player from your roster to "focus" on and select which area(s) you would like to focus on and the length of time you want the trainer to focus on that player/area(s)
I've found focussing on 1 player for 4 weeks will generally get you 2 session results for that player which cover multiple ratings, training on a player for 1 week doesnt always get you a result for that player.
The trainer will also train other players on the roster at random, so my advise is to focus on 1 player for 4 weeks at a time to get maximum results.
The change was bought in to stop people stacking training to 1 player and make it more difficult to "make" superstars...
