Is it REALLY a big deal?

Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

Is it REALLY a big deal?

People who got the game:

Is Freestyle Superstar really a great new thing revolutionatizing the gameplay?

Cause they pump it everywhere, even at the beginning of each game...but to me it looks just as a set of new moves, that's it.

Please, can all of you be sincere and tell me if this new feature is big enough to accept the fact the EA didn't fix anything else in the game?

Sincerity is appreciated. I see all the guys at Live.org talking bad about 2006...

All I've read is people saying that superstar moves are really hard to do... which is good in some ways, but if they're near impossible and only useful for fast breaks then what was the point of including it to begin with.

oh yeh, the fucking kick ass

superstar outside stopper, makes steals awesome (steal when theyre backing-down)
inside stopper blocks the shit out of the ball, shooter makes shots 100% if your open, inside scorer and scorer give you the ability to score even under immense pressure, and the highflyer is just amazing. think dunk contest, in a game

im my dynasty, in about 5hours, i will have pics of maggette doing a high-flyer dunk which is just amazing, ill post a link here when im done

superstars really do have the ability to take over the game, bringing you down from what might have been a loss. its amazing really.

It's not the only thing that's new or improved. Even without, the gameplay would have been better than NBA Live 2005. But yes, having played it I think it was the right thing to do with the concept of total player control.

Thanks, some good news finally. Especially that even without, the game play is better than 2005.

And how about camera angles? are they any better? In 05 I used press box cause it was the ony one giving me a good view of every player on the court...Is there any new one?

I didnt get use to playing 05 on ps2, actually i hate it at first cose it was too difficult to learn to play compared to 2004, i killed that version :D:D, and 06 seems very easy to play imo, just my 2cents

yes and thats all that needs to be looked at. your whole game can be summed up in that picture...as they say a picture is worth a thousand words (or atleast a few hundred in this case ;) )
