Net look/animations... possible to change?

When you guys get the game you'll see the net is the worst it's ever been. Four frames of animation, crap animation, average texture - looking
like a 2d .gif overlayed on the 3d model of the rim. And the ball pops out the front most times...

The 3 files are .o and .ebo but won't open with the 2005 tools.

Anyone want the files to test if you know what you're doing?

We cant edit the animations. Its never been possible in any of the previous nba lives.

Anything related to the rim/net in any Live has always been godly in terms of ugliness. What is EA thinking by taking a step back from the already fugly?

the rim looks great this year. The net animation is the only thing that has let it down.

the net animation in ESPN 2k4 (not sure about 2k5/2k6) was impossible. if u were in replay mode and played a video of a guy dunking/shooting and then stopped the replay wen it got to the time when the ball hit the net, and them began to rewind. the animation of the net would still play forward.

which means it was possible to start your replay again and your player may be at half court and the net was boucning around still............... :roll:

i thought i was the only one who didn't like the net animations.

i really like 2k6's nets though. but it sometimes moves too much. i wish Live's was like that

True, I hate hate how EA never pays attention to details like other companies do. This is very much true for the entire company.

It's a pretty stupid glitch either way that does annoy me and affect the realism anyway.
