Ratings for the top 25 players in Nba Live 06
http://sports.ign.com/articles/652/652414p1.html
Shawn Marion is in top 10

Shawn has a very rounded game..but top 10..no.
LeBrons a power player? Lmao..what?
Rasheed 89??

T-mac outside stopper? WTF? He isn't that bad of a defender, but he isn't any kind of stopper except a showstoper>>>>>>>ask Bradley
and how is it that P.Pierce is an inside scorer and Iverson isn't ?Iverson drives the ball more often than any other guard WTF????? Well at least Pierce isn't a high flyer, cause he isn't in real life either.
Rasheed Wallace is overrated in the series. In 2004 okay, but now....some games he just gets 10 points and 6 rebs nd has a lot of foul trouble. He is a very important player, but he's always overrated a bit in my opinion.
since when is Richard Jefferson an outside stopper????????
Same as above only with Joe johnson ......
same as above only with Jason Richardson
I think they were a bit generous with some attributes to the big name big contract guys.

Shaq does not have inside scorer? Yet his ins. scoring rating is 95. I think somebody is wrong. They have D. Aware and D. Aware listed twice differently, and no O. Aware.

Inside scoring is like doing up and under and fancy layups. Shaq doesn't do that...

He could do a baby hook or something though besides dunk.
I think IGN is doing this instead of Covering all teams like they did last year. I think this is it for ratings.
Who's the best no-superstar moves player? I think it's WEbber, 81 rated.

I don't know about you people but to me it seems that ea has been inconsistent with the ratings since last year with live 05.
05 had Paul Pierce 89 (should be a few points less) and Tim Duncan 89 (Timmy is more like a 90 something)

Tim Duncan 89 (Timmy is more like a 90 something)
Try 93-96 maybe. He's always an MVP candidate, and the only weak parts of his ratings are stealing and 3's, maybe FT too.

Well, because he has a well-rounded game, his overall rating has got to be high, no?
I don't get why Rasheed Wallace ratings are so high. I'm looking at his overall ratings, and I don't know how that was calculated to be an 89.

That's always how it is with EA. Terrible ratings. That's why we have roster updates!

I cant believe ppl havent still figured out dat OVERALL ratings dont really mean much, come on Steve Nash cant be rated any higher because hes a liablity in certain categories while Steve Franchise will be rated higher because he has such a HIGH dunk and jumping rate, EA got the ratings about right, a few misses are abound to occur but in total it makes sense...theres a reason why Marion and KG are one of the best fantasy players, so dont complain about Marion not deserving to be in the top ten

Lebron 95,is that a joke???I give him like 85,and Tim 91,wow wtf

Yes sir. Great find.

The ratings look a bit high in my opinion but it's not too severe.

Someone tell me why LeBron is a power player!
Wed Sep 21, 2005 1:58 pm
the the hell is lmao..?
Wed Sep 21, 2005 3:33 pm
when will we realize that it's impossible to get perfect ratings?
Come on.....we disagree with each other as much as we disagree with EA....everyone has is own opinion.... nobody has mastered tha art of rating...stop complaning...you can edit them easily and as much as you like

Ok guys, you hafta remember - these aren't REAL LIFE ratings. These are ratings for the games. If you are really high in some categories, i.e. jumping, dunking, and stealing, your overall rating is going to be high, that doesn't automatically mean you're the best player in the game! Someone could be rated 85 and couldn't make a shot for his life.
In the case for Shawn Marion, his overall game, as you said, is very high. That means he will have high ratings for Free throws, 3 pts inside scoring, rebounding, off/def, FG, dunking, stealing, blocking.. that's why his overall rating is higher.

Paul Pierce with strength 68 and defensive awareness at 87? They just aren't paying attention over at EA, that is what's happening.
EDIT: Toine with 3pts at 74? Now we know that no-one at EA ever watched a game. Ever.

damn kobe having 5 superstar abillities..

I'm liking this
Wed Sep 21, 2005 6:26 pm
1. Kevin Garnett
-60 in stamina? doesn't he play lots of minutes? he averaged 38.1 mpg last season and 39.4 before that.
-Hardiness is 86. That's impossible my friends because the man has played all 82 games 3 years in a row.
-59 in dribbling? I truly truly believe that he's better than that.
Everything else looks good.
2. Kobe Bryant
Everything looks good.
3. Lebron James
Everything looks good.
Sidenote: only 2 years in the league and already a top 5? damn
Yeah why do they have D. Aware listed twice. I think the first one is Offensive Awar. and the 2nd one is Defensive A.
