Andrew,I've tried your slideres,very realistic.I like it .
I made a some adjust because for me it is a little bit of slow .When I attempted to adjust the game speed to around 48,it made the game more fluently,only to find that when I got a wide open,the cpu would immediately get and defend my player due to the high speed .So I have to turn down the game speed to 40 now and then I could have some open shot.
So any solution to this ?I just want high speed game such as 48 speed and have the open shot.

sorry for my poor English.

No, not really. The only thing that governs the game speed is the game speed slider. If 48 results in undesirable behaviour, the only solution is to have it lower.

Hi Andrew, thanks for this. Have been watching the thread. I've only just received Live 2006 on Tuesday this week so the timing is great.

I finished my 2004-2005 Bulls season end of Feb on Live 2005 so took a break and am glad to have your sliders yet again.

I don't think I'll start another full 82 game season again though. The 10 months the last one took eat up my freetime.

This may sound like a stupid (or obvious) question, so apologies for that in advance.

When I was changing my sliders, I din't realise there were two different sets 9Simulation & Action). I only found out by accident when I pressed R1 instead of R2. (I was trying to change slider type).

Anyway, do these two have to be the same (Or should they be). I'm guessing the simulation stats are for when you sim games and the action stats are for when you play the game. Yes/No?

Good question, I thought that the sim sliders were preset for if you wanted a simulation like playing experience while the action sliders were for a more action packed arcade style playing experience. Not sure though.

No, they don't have to be the same. Basically you can have two sets of sliders saved at once, one for simulation and one for arcade-style play. If you really wanted you could have them both as realistic sets or both as arcade-ish sets but the option is there to have both types of game settings which you can customise independently.

NO OFFENSE, but I still think playmaker's one is the best of the best, i just start a new dynasty with philly, and every single game is realli tight, very exciting, esp against strong teams...so I sitll think playmaker's one is perfect realistic.... :D

I'm sure there are several slider sets that play very good and most of the slider guy's probably work very hard to help others enjoy the game. But I'm also a huge fan of playmakers sliders. I tested out 2-3 different sliders from within this thread and I always went back to playmakers because for some reason the games do feel realistic. I like how he actually implemented the playbooks with his sliders and maybe that's why the games seem to play out so realistic to me. But prop's to all the slider makers because for a guy like me I'd be clueless as to where to even start if I had to figure out these things on my own.

Greetings Andrew. I already wrote to you in occasion of yours sliders, but the answer have not received. At me such question what it is necessary to change that the account in game was not such high? Why? I play team LAL, and almost always the account comes to an end 115 +, and sometimes and 120 +. And at a team of the opponent does not reach 100 glasses.

I use Playmakers sliders on both level's. On Superstar I just drop the shooting ranges down to 34-38-42 for both me and CPU. Also, if you try to steal all the time you will get reach in fouls called. Plug in his playbooks for the CPU and the games play very good.

Level: All-Star/Press Box View -2 clicks from DEFAULT Camera/Shot Control Optional

Assign High Pressure Defense to all PF's and C's for both CPU and Human players. You have to take control of the CPU at the start of games to set their Pressure defense then switch over to your team before the tip off.

Game Speed's
45=10 MINUTES
50=8 MINUTES

Game Speed: 45-50
Free Throw Difficulty: 100
Boundary Force Field: 75
Injury Frequency: 50
Fatigue Effect: 50
Charge/Block Foul Frequency: 75
Shooting Foul Frequency: 25
Reach-in Foul Frequency: 50...(Helps to spread out fouls amongst players)
In-air Collision Foul Frequency: 75.....(This is very realistic if U control 1 defender)

my sliders are nearly exactly like yours, however, i think the CPU long range is too much at 40. i have it at 39. i also have user mid range at 37. i guess it depends on your team.

I think he was saying mean things to me in a different language. Sorry man, I didnt mean to offend you, i just like the way you used the phrase, "100 glasses" reminds me of the Big O calling rebounds "ballboards" :D

First of all, attempting to bypass the forum rules by insulting members in a language other than English will not be tolerated, if that is indeed what you were doing.

Second, I did not receive any message from you which is why I didn't respond.

Third, I'm sorry but I do not understand your question.

That's fine. The whole idea of this thread is to share sliders and find the ones that work best for you. If playmakers' set works best for you then by all means use it.

I think he is saying that the game (accounts) always ends up lopsided with one team scoring 100 points (glasses). ie. he wants a closer game. I think his solution would be to either a)play on a harder difficulty, or b) change the sliders so its harder for you to win. Just lower your shooting percentages or blocks/reb/steals
