Andrew, could this be true?!?! Ratings released for Live 06

Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

Andrew, could this be true?!?! Ratings released for Live 06

Postby Impose on Fri Sep 16, 2005 2:22 pm

Heya guys, found screenshots of team rosters and overall ratings for Live 06, they seem a bit wack!!! They're said to be Beta Screen shots, Andrew, are these ratings likely to be "fine-tuned"?

The team roster screens start from 09/15/05 number 236 (Atlanta) and go through alphabetically from there.

Quite likely, given it's from a beta build.

Yea, and Ray Felton rated higher than Chris Paul! WTF?

Marv Williams is way over rated

Martel Webster is rated 69... from memory that was LeBron's rookie rating...

Maybe they wanted to tighten up the best/worst players ratings this time?

But Felton better than C Paul... NoOOOoOoOOOo

Duncan was always listed at 7'0", but his true height is around 6'11".

I can see that cause he is an all rounded player. But Chandler at 80 ?!?! He can only block. He doesnt have a polished offense game and foul prone. Shot needs a bit more more work.

I do hope this isn't final! A lot of crazy ratings there. I think someone said that Ign's posting the ratings tomorrow so I can't wait to see what the final product looks like.

Let's be real here:

When it comes to OVERALL ratings - it's really not a huge deal when playing the game.

Chandler and Okafor averaged approximately the same in blocks, rebounds. I'm thinking that Chandler is higher overall due to him being more athletic (Jumping, Quickness, Speed) than Okafor. Yes, Okafor averaged 15ppg compared to Chandler's 8ppg - but with that said, I'm sure that NOBODY would say that Okafor is an offensive force.

Once again, OVERALL ratings = not a big deal

Lets be honest, certain players have a "higher rating" because of their expertise in certain facets of the game, Marion in real life aint better than say Wade or watever but this guy is very versatile............EA's rating is all cummulative, as such someone like Francis wh has a high rate in dunking and rightfully so pushes up his rating higher..........theres always preferences, u dont like the ratings, then feel free to change it, it aint really dat big of a deal

LeBron @ 95? What a joke.

T-Mac should be about a 107 then.
