Your fave team's superstars

Postby redmann_5 on Thu Sep 08, 2005 6:05 am

I'm a big Mavs fans and I think these players will deserve to be superstars.

1)Dirk Nowitzki = Inside Scorer
2)Jason Terry = Outside Scorer, Outside Stopper
3)Doug Christie = Outside Stopper
4)Jerry Stackhouse = Outside Scorer
5)Josh Howard = Outside Stopper
6)Erick Dampier = Inside Stopper
7)Keith Van Horn = Shooter

Beg to disagree with you. Christie and Howard defend pretty well so I guess they deserve to be outside stoppers. Jason Terry has to be an outside Scorer. Dampier can block shots as well...

I think the only Superstars in my team will be Dwayne Wade (Outside Scorer, High Flyer, maybe playmaker) and Shaq (Inside Stopper, Inside Scorer).

As much as Wade is my favorite player, hes not really an outside scorer. He can hit the J, but thats it.

Sadly i cant think of any for the raps either. Bosh is an all around good player, but doesnt yet thrive in any particulat area. Jalen Rose scorer maybe? but i dont think so.

imo if they gave crawford 2 or 3(i forget) supserstar skills then i dont see anything wrong with the original mavs list, except that dirk should be a shooter also

Bosh is a high flyer or possibly an inside stopper. Jalen Rose is a scorer and Morris Peterson is probably a shooter. Alston has the potential to be a playmaker as well.

as much as i want to believe that, it wont happen, bosh is not a high flyer, though he does have some nice dunks in his repetoir, and moe pete is too inconsistent for superstar status, other wise he would be in the top scoring in the league if he was consistent, for hes quite talented. as for Rose being a scorer, thats the only thing i can seee them doing, and im sure alston will become a playmaker, but not this year. the only thing i can see for bosh right now is possibly inside scorer, though he prefers turn arounds and spins rather that hooks and lean-ins.

Since my favorite team is the Lakers, I guess that means Vlade Divac deserves to be a superstar. Maybe Inside Stopper. Or how about Outside Social Security Receiver --- seeing how he'll probably retire soon anyway. And yes I'm being sarcastic about all this if you didn't notice.

Superstar abilities aren't really just for superstars. I think lesser role players also have abilities don't they? I mean, it would be pretty unlogical to not give someone like Darius Miles a high flyer.

Yeah he definitely can fly. His shooting is damn good..in second half of season when he was playing 10-15 mins a game he averaged like 70% fg shooting I think they said..

yeah something like that. blazers have a lot of young players but its only matter of if they have the desire and want to become a allstar or superstar or they become rich and stop trying!!!

LeBron James and Larry Hughes are my superstars. Hopefully Damon Jones will be on the Cavs roster before they ship the game. Jahidi White too coz it sounds like my Cavs are close to signing him.
