Seems like the persontried out the Dynasty mode, and from what I see, the coaches get grades and there is a screen for player development.

I would love to trade Crawford for another Stopper, maybe someone like Iguodala on the 76ers. They made AI Version 2.0 one seriously bad M-Fer in this game, and I would love to have him on my team, so I throw Crawford's name out there as trade bait and wait for a bite.

The writer knows nothing about past versions or how Live works. He tried an early season trade with a first round pick and someone else for a quality player, and the computer declined. His comment was 'good, I hate being able to pull one over on the AI.' But that's not it. In Live teams don't trade for draft picks early in the season, and usually only do it after the all star break.

It's great to see the Dynasty Diary early this time. I thought it was going to come next week. Anyways, the pics looks good and the story was aight. Looks like the Knicks have potental in this dynasty.

EDIT: All I want to see now is some pics of the scouting reports of next opponets, the Knicks playbook, the offseason, All - Star Weekend in the dynasty, playoffs with season & playoff awards and stats, and league leaders & season stats.

I'm liking the Player Evolution screen. Hopefully it would show a diagram just like Nba Live 2000 with the player development.

I'm not liking too much the freestyle superstar screen though the one allowing you to enable/disable. Like I said there are multi-talented players in the game and just allowing them to have one type of FS is unfair.

The PDA is basically the same and hasn't changed --- very bad

Hiring of Ass. Coaches is a very good feature

but what about the actual head coach? does him have any effect on the team and players? :?:

If you had 2 though, how would you be able to do it in the game? Remember all the moves are trigger + another button, it wouldn't work. They didn't make it this way because they wanted to restrict players, they made it this way because it can't work the way you're saying.

There should be a button to change the type of freestyle I guess. Press Z and freestyle superstar mode changes from playmaker to outside scorer. Or double tap L. Something like that.

He can't change it because it's on Schedule Type NBA, if it's on Random, then you can change it :wink:

Too bad that Dynasty Diary never goes very long. Actually, last year's diary consisted of a single entry. We saw the warriors draft a Rodrick Wolf and scout him, then that was about it. This time, we haven't even made it through a season. Dynasties are interesting.... when they are dynasties, but you know he won't go on (let's hope he does to prove us wrong).

The training appears to go each week. This will be good, as players won't jump through seasons as quickly.

Ratings are up for everyone. I think it's about 5-10 points inflated from previous live. Hardaway =64 yet is 60 in live 05. Figure he's goin down, so it's about 54-59 equal in current live.

There is. But it's only on the PSP version.

Yeah. I was disappointed too. But remember what he said at the beginning of the Knicks Dynasty story. He left the Warriors for the Knicks.

Maybe because the guy playing the game kept using training time on Nate and Frye and neglected training time to Sweetney... dunno
