I think it's a pretty nice cover; it looks kind of dramatic with the lighting and all. Nice cover.
I suppose the company feels that they sell more copies of the game if a countryman is on it, and it's probably true, but I'm not a big fan of different ones.
While on the topic, here's the PSP cover of the game, note how the jersey is white, but black on all the rest of the covers.

"The user streetballaz1 posted the French cover of NBA Live 06 in our forum; and it is, again, Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs. He also posted the cover for the Spanish version of the game in our forum."
Well, it was not streetballerz1 that made the announcement for the Spanish cover. It was me, soto14!
There is no place in the entire forum where streetballerz1 made the announcement for the Spanish cover. In fact, his topic is titled "nba live 06 france cover". So...?
