Hasn't everyone noticed that the only thing every site reviewing NBA Live 06 is mentioning in detail is the superstar types and moves? Why isn't anyone reviewing, in detail, dynasty or the AI and whether it has improved or not?

How many videos of 'SHOOTER' type can be seen before people realize it isn't really a review or preview, but rather a constant barrage of EA's marketing message for the game?

Q: But how is Dynasty improved? A: Have you seen the new Superstar High Flyers?

Q: Is the defensive AI better? A: Have you seen the high flyers?

Q: Do AI players on offense react with more intelligence and according to the play called? A: This year EA has added five superstar types.

Q: I haven't seen too much defense in all the videos. Is it possible to play defense this year, or can players still slam through the defense for a dunk every time? A: Kobe Bryant is a high flyer.

Q: Will a game against the computer see it's superstar players really taking over the game and giving a human player a challenge? A: Superstars are in the game, so they're in this game.

if you check my other posts i have answered most of those questions....as far as dynasty they have mentioned some of the new dynasty extras though not in detail...we do know we will be able to take players into individual training sessions for 1 on 1 or 5 on 5 to see how they perform....dynasty is already good as it is and they definitly are adding more things to it....the defensive AI in the game is not bad but improvements are welcome...AI players on offense defintiyl need work as most of them are stansding around while there are loose bals and sometimes act very dumb on plays...however this is all done to make the game more difficult and make u control the player...if u play on superstar in live 2005 ull notice that u have to play on ball defense or the cpu will not jump for any blocks and barely for rebounds....i think this should be implemented more properly as it is extremely hard for one person to control ewverything on the court and unrealistic at times.....the defense has beeen shown in the videos though not as detailed as the offense of course but i can tell u that there will be hot spots for traps and the stealing system is revamped as well as blocking and there are superstar types for defense....as far as players slamming thru the defense....im sure kobe can slame all over the typical nobody....and thats a good thing cuz i dont know wat game uve been playing this year but the blocks in 2005 are ridiculously unbalanced...people like cris anderson had a 99 in blocks...and it was extremely easy to get 12 blocks or more in a game.. hopefully that has been toneds down not increasddd....the superstyars a great addition on both ends of the court iand if implemented properly it is a BIGDEAL so im not blamng them for marketiung it so strongly...also theres a month left for info to be released...they are almost dnt with info on all the types of superstars s just be patient iiiight

@ the initial post... completely agree, everything is freestyle superstars. We'll probably have special freestyle superstar moves to make in the menu's "If you press Y+R1, Superstar Options™ appear on your screen!"

lol@ superstar options....yea i was just typin dat ish out fast cuz ive said it like 10 times today so i aint even bother wit paragraphs....but anyways i think once their done showcasing all the freestyle superstars profiles theyll release more info on everything ...im actually mostly waiting for info about online play....i hope they have online leagues this time.......but lets be patient i mean theres only like one or two more superstar things left...the defensive ones and ummm i think dats it

i was just reading through the IGN message boards and JRob( the one thats been posting the plays of the day) told one of the members there that the dynasty coming soon...most likely sometime this week...its possible that he will post the defenders profiles tonight and then show some of the new dynasty features this weekend .....

It's taken them long enough... so far we know you can hrie coaches and that's about it. I'm going to guess the new dynasty features...

Hire/fire coaches... it will be completely and utterly useless but we'll be able to do it all the same.

New dynasty interface... looks different for obvious reasons.

I think the draft will be changed a little bit, well I hope it will be... the Live 05 draft is shit.

That's all I think they'll really do... if there was more they would've announced it somewhere inbetween the freestyle superstar things.

i'd simply like to know 2 things

1. is there a force field around the players that doesnt allow for good isolation plays?

2. Can i safely shoot the ball from the perimeter w/o getting swatted all the time?

EA definitely needs to add more gin and juice to the Dynasty Mode. Some pointers are:

- If you're going to add the feature of hiring/firing coaches please make it in a way that they're gonna have some effect/impact on players and team chemistry/moral etc. That's the point of adding such feature if it's turns out to be pointless?

- Three, four or even five blockbuster trade. Cpu offering trade to the User more frequently.

- Add a player profile to all players ala www.nba.com and a easier and better way to look thru their career stats in the same page without having to scroll up and down and even have the awards and recognition the player has earned in his careers like MVP, DPY, ROY, All-Defensive teams, etc

- Add players tendencies to players, by doing this it actually let the players play the game the way they do in real life.

- Add International teams like Yugoslavia, Croatia, etc

- Much more more!

NBA Live 2005 draft is not a piece of shit... It's basically the same as it's always been...Why does the Live 2005 draft produce crappy players??? I know why, we have upped the ratings for basically all the players in the game with the roster patches... And the rookies that the draft produces are set so that their ratings are relative to the original rosters... So the fact that the rookies suck is basically just due to the fact that we make all the other players better. I am well aware that EA's rosters aren't great and there are plenty of errors in the ratings, but we always make players better than on the default rosters and thus making the rookies worse relatively speaking of course.

International teams can't be included as there are way too few players in the NBA from basically all the rest of the countries besides the US. They could probably do like continental teams, like Asia, Europe, South America, Africa and North America...

The player page cannot contain as much data as the nba.com profile... This is due to the frikkin low resolution that the consoles use... You could do that with the PC with ease... You just can't fit that much data on the television screen.

It has been said that the coaching thing does effect the development of players, but we will need more information to say anything concrete...

There are two possible things here with the lack of Dynasty information... Either EA is holding back the information and has forbidden anyone from writing about it. They can do that and probably are doing at the moment... Then there is the chaos theorem... Which is, there is nothing there! They have used the year to make Ray Allen sweat for XBOX360...

I have to admit that adding new platforms is always a new task and a new risk etc. etc. So I am not expecting miracles from Live 06... I just hope that there have been some steps taken to make the Dynasty mode better as that is the mode that we actually do play after the first week of owning the game.
