I'm still waiting for some new infos (especially about dynasty mode) other than superstar freestyle.

Enjoy it!~

You don't need to pay IGN, the quicktime version is for insiders I think, the windows one you can just download.

No you don't. Just click on the downloadable version instead of the 'Watch It Now' link.

all i can say is: PLEASE EA!!!! show some mercy on us guys that think that a basketball 5 on 5 game IS NOT a slam dunk contest with some 3 point shootout inbetween!!!!

Great! I saw my Warriors play and win. The game still is a little fast & the superstar moves are used a little too much. All and all, great footage! (Y)

The rim doesn't move at all lol

Is the game that hard that the guys playing have to make it so easy? Really though, everything goes in, I mean what are they on starter?

It would be nice for them do show a video where they do some actuall playcalling, and up the difficulty. Then again, it is called "play of the day", so I guess I'm expecting too much here, they don't show playcalling on Sporscenter now do they :(

I don't think they know how to play NBA Live.

Or on the other hand, they are told to play like that...

anyway, the shooting animation is far better than last year, it's very smooth. :D

I liked the vids... You have to recognize that they are playing player vs. player... There are two "reaction times" involved and thus it is easy to break for the hoop and get those crazy dunks. When playing against the AI the delays on the defense rotations etc. will not be as huge as they are in the vids. With all the contested shots going in in the vids, they are most likely playing on a lower skill level and looking at the dunks it would seem that the arcade rules are on or something...

But where is the dynaty stuff???

 The supersatar moves are used all the time. the game is like a street ball. EA must do something about it. jason kidd always do fancy passes. and j-rich and VC always dunk like there's a dunk competition.. it sucks. :?

 No, my point is why ea makes a freestyle moves like that, that is very easy to use. in real games, they just use it ones or twice. but in live '06 every possesion of the ball, u can do that freestyle move. they must limit it. get my point? seriously, the game is like a street ball.

Thanks for the link kp. (Y)

As with the other videos I like what I see, but it's hard to make too many judgements on the overall gameplay from those snippets. I like the fact players are able to drive strong to the basket, though I would like to see a bit more bumping and collisions, though not quite to the extent of NBA Live 2005. That's my main concern, that the CPU will be able to knife its way into the paint too easily and score at will a la NBA Live 2003, though I think the fact it's two human players probably playing on the easiest difficulty contributes to that happening in the videos.
