Here's what REALLY needs to be fixed

Alright - I've been playing this game with my boys since Live '98. We always play with 5 guys, and play an entire team against the CPU.

Some things have been removed from the game that make no sense:

The player indicator - You used to be able to turn on the position indicator on every player on the court. This was extremely useful when trying to play man-to-man defense. This feature was removed-why?

User stats and profiles - This one really ticked me off. We used to be able to track our own stats as users. This was an endless source of enjoyment as we compared stats with each other. This feature was removed-why?

I really don't care about new modes and new animations, just put these simple things back in the game (it would be about 15 lines of code), and we can all enjoy this game again.

I agree with the user profile/stats. I'm no programmer, but I can't see how this would take up that much system resources.

Currently, I have to reset my playbook everytime I play..it's a bit of an annoyance.

I'm a massive fan of the you + friends vs the cpu thing (every opportunity I get I bring my gcube into uni with my 4 controllers).. how ffs sweet is it going to be when we can do it online and go living room to living room or computer to computer like that.. just curious.. r u playing 5 players using ps2 + multitap yeah?..

what I love about playing this way (with player lock) is that you get to do all the 1 percenters like box out, cut without the basketball, try to break free of ur direct opponent, do double team rotations, run plays, etc.. but for some reason (atleast in live 04 on gc, and 05 on pc) u cant set screens.. all of which is greatly enhanced when you're talking and co-operating with friends (human intelligence).. it's the meat and potatoes that u just don't get nearly as much of when ur constantly following the ball
