I know some more things they need to add to NBA LIVE 2006. if they put it where you can have a dunk contest online with 2-8 players or a 3 point shootout. Also, the slam dunk showdown. That would be nice!

Moved to 06 General Issues.
It's a good idea, I was kinda dissapointed when I got 2005 and it didn't have the possibilitie to do that. This year we'll get two new things though:

But no regular Slam Dunk Contest...They are the ‘Freestyle Challenge’ modes of Slam Dunk Showdown and 3-Point Showdown. These two game modes were in NBA LIVE 2005 as part of the ‘All-Star Weekend’ and now will be available for people to play online.

They need to add the Skills Challenge for the All-Star Weekend Mode just like what NBA 06 has.

skills challenge?on that note i totally disagree,I mean if they add that they shud add coaching staffs in the gameplay priorityzng the gameplay is a must dude

I understand why EA didn't put the regular Slam Dunk Contest mode in it.
As a gamer, it's not funny to watch the oponents playing while you are just sitting & waiting for your turn.
(and remember, it's in an online mode)
It might be alright if the contest is exciting but frankly to say, the slam dunk contest is not exciting,
your oponents will never suprise you with their moves since ALL the moves are available for you as well and most likely you've seen all those moves already.
